Which Hinge do I need?

What size hinge to choose? - Generally the length of the hinge should be approximately half the width of the door. If your gates are particularly heavy, hard wood, of more than 3" thick we would recommend you move up to the next size.

Adjustable Hook and Band Hinge

Allow for easy adjustment of both top and bottom which enables easy hanging of your gates and quick adjustment if the gates sag slightly in the future. These hinges keep both post and gates flush when hung on the front or back of the post.

Cranked Hook and Band

When hung on the front or back of the post the gate sits proud of the post.

When hung on the front or back of the post the hinges allow the post and gate to remain flush.

Reversible Hinge

A decorative hinge which has cups top and bottom of the hinge pin. The reversible hinge also keeps the post and gate flush when hung on the front or back of the post.
